About Us

The D.D. Bray Foundation, Inc. was conceived through the spirit and inspiration of D.D. Bray. D.D. faced the reality of battling cancer not once, but twice. As she struggled with the demands of cancer treatment, she discovered also that she would not qualify for financial assistance to cover the cost of that treatment due to loopholes in the medical insurance system!   Because of her experiences, D.D. believes nobody should have to go through this emotional AND financial struggle.
As Charles Wooten, UCLA coach, said, “You can’t live a perfect day without doing something for someone who will never be able to repay you.” D.D. Bray and the D.D. Bray Foundation, Inc. live and work by this motto.

    Provide financial assistance for medical needs to as many people as possible.

    Be the premier non-profit organization making a difference in people’s lives.
Who is Eligible:
    Criteria for participation are lenient and broad-based to encompass a variety of needs. Extenuating circumstances are always considered.
    For prescription coverage, medicines are available within 2 to 14 days and sometimes within 24 hours. Applications are available by downloading a document you can print and mail to us. Please complete the application in its entirety or we will not be able to provide help for you. Online submission is not available.
