In less than a year the D.D. Bray Foundation, Inc.
has already brought financial relief to several people! The list of people that the D.D. Bray Foundation has helped is growing faster than we expected! Read more about who we've helped:
- Paula
J. is fighting lung cancer as she also battles emphysema, cardio-obstructive
pulmonary disorder, and chronic back problems. Paula and her husband John are both retired. At a
time in their lives when they expected to be able to enjoy retirement
they quickly found their retirement savings being spent on the medications
necessary to keep Paula alive. They pay more than $500.00 a
month for just ONE of the
seven or eight prescriptions she purchases each month.
The D.D. Bray Foundation has eased their financial situation by helping to pay some of Paula's medical expenses. Says
D.D. Bray, "she's a dear, dear woman, and it made me feel really good
that we were able to help her. This is the most fulfilling thing
that has ever happened to me in my life. In a way I'm blessed that
I had cancer, because if I hadn't, I wouldn't be able to give back in this way."
- We've helped a dear woman in a wheel chair get a lift for her vehicle as well as building a ramp up to her home.
- For a single mom who just lost her job, we were able to pay for her radiation co-pays as well as her prescription needs.
- We've
helped many people by taking care of their monthly prescriptions as
well as paying for weekly co-pays to see their doctors.
